Baked Beans – Uncle Paul's
Got this recipe from Uncle Paul many moons ago. I recall seeing him make them.
While I have not made them yet, they sure did look yummie.

Ingredients
2 lbs. beans
3 big onions – chopped
3/4 cup lard or salt pork
The making of...
In large pot, add enough water to cover the beans. Add chopped onions and salt pork. Boil 5-7 minutes, until beans rise to top.
Remove from stove.
Sauce
2 1/2 cup Ketchup
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. molasse
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. salt (only if using lard as salt pork is very salty)
Mix and add to beans.
Bake covered at 275F for 3 hours.
