Desserts... for the Sweet Tooth – The French Cdn Way

We all need sweets to complete our lives... don't you think so?

A frequent dessert in this household. Hubby`s specialty.

Amazing biscotti filled with chocolat chips. The are a bit soft and chewy... just how I like them.

I loved these biscotti, but the dough was hard to work with.  Will definitely try again.

Another crazy-good recipe that I recently found at Simply Recipes.

Mom's recipe – a favourite at Christmas time.
They always ask for it.

Acquired from Nadine.

Who knows best than Nadine... she is a fine cook!

Got recipe from a neighbour only cause I tried and loved it.

That's the only recipe I make now.

Recently acquired from my niece Nat, a fine French Québequoise cook.

When you make it, it will not last long.

Amazing cookies. Very easy to make.

This recipe will have your guests wooing-waaing you.
They will think you slaved all day.

A recipe from our Up-North house neighbour... Colette.
I absolutely love this cake.

Mom's recipe – a favourite at Christmas time.
The family always expects it.

Oh Wow...
Had not made this cake in over 20 years... ouffff.

So easy to make, and so yummie.

Got this from sweet little aunt Bertha a long time ago.

Got recipe from LCBO Food and Wine mag.

Was really good.

Zero calories in this pie... LOL

Made these for Thanksgiving 2014. Was a first in the tart format and they were excellent.  Will definitely make again :) As usual, I added my own touch.

Wow, who knew I could do that... LOL

It is much like making Limoncello, but with oranges. Very easy to make. I now prefer this over Limoncello.

Excellent. Not too strong and not too sweet. Just right :)

Recently made. Had a nice golden colour. Served with Tonic. Truly amazing.
