Sheppard's Pie 2

Found this new recipe on a food blog called Cook & Bake.

 

When I read what the secret ingredient was, I was thinking... ya right, are you nuts???

 

Decided to try it... OH MY... that's it... that's my new found and "only" recipe I will ever make.

 

Read on...Ingredients are pretty much as Sheppard's Pie I , but the twists are:

• While cooking the meat/onions, add some ground cinnamon... YES, CINNAMON... that's the secret ingredient!!! Trust me, who knows food more than me!!!

• Instead of two cans of cream corn, add 1 can cream corn, 1 can kernel corn (peach and cream or other), and in my case, I had frozen peas, so threw them on. If you don't have any, that's OK.

 

Yep, I made two casseroles – Kiddo was here and it's her favourite :)
