Stuffed Mushrooms

 

So easy to make and yummie....

There are many variations. I'll include a few.

Ingredients

Mushrooms - large enough to stuff

Spinach - cooked

Garlic - minced (or garlic salt)

Butter/margerine

Salt and pepper

 

The making of...

Wash mushrooms and remove the steams. Set aside.

 

From the steams, thinly slice off the bad end. Chop the rest and mix with about a tablespoon of soft butter (or margarine).

Mix together spinach, chopped steams, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Stuff mushrooms and bake at 400F until tender (about 20-25 minutes)

 

Other variations

Add fresh grated parmesan or pecorino. Add a bit of oil to mixture (omit butter). Top stuffed mushrooms with breadcrums.
